This weekend was busy. We needed to see Fr. Mickey in Stoneybrook and review the Pre-Cana couseling test, knows as FOCUS. It was interesting to see where Jenn and I disagreed on items. There really were no concerns except for an area or two that we haven't really talked about prior to the test. We talked, we agreed, I guess we are better people now.

Then we went to see the DJ at a bar in East Islip. I forget the name but it was a nice place. He was playing a party. We talked to him quickly and then had a drink at the bar. Jenn and I talked about the wedding list. I have several people that want to attend that I didn't plan on, so we are over the original 120 by about 15. I don't think the room can take another table. At any rate, we went through the list and I talked about cutting some folks "out". It then got a little heated and Jenn started to cry. Nothing stops me like that.

We recoverd and went to Amityville to the Shedd's where we unloaded, went to Mass, then dinner and once home, picked out an invitation.

A long day and then I didn't sleep very well. I was up early and pacing around. By the time we left, I was pretty stressed out and felt like I couldn't finish or focus on one single thought all weekend.

We left the Island and made it to CT, the Lemley's house. The Lemley's have completed house construction, new kitchen, new family room, new upstairs bathroom. It all looks great. Rob is a wine guy and he pulled out a nice one for lunch. I drank a few glasses and Jenn had to drive home, which pissed her off. I took a nap, which I needed.

A long long long weekend completed. Thank God for Monday.
